March Forward, Dear Mother Elmore (Latin: March Clamât, Cara Mater Elmore) is the national anthem of Elmore.
History[]
The anthem's lyrics were written by former cheerleading squad leader Penny Fitzgerald (and also composed a longer version), and the music was composed by Ben Bocquelet. It was adopted in 3018, as part of reforms that followed three years after a nuclear missile destroyed the town of Elmore. It has 15 lines. The fanfare should be in a rap part.
Lyrics[]
Latin[]
- Reverentiam pro civitatem fortis est in nostra Elmore;
- National superbia videtur, coruscantem ex uno latere ad alterum.
- Pax iustitiae et libertatis creatae
- Unum sumus et in aequalitate amoris.
- Firmum fundamentum, nos non dimittis nostri omnes creaturas;
- Sumus creaturas vivamus per opus.
- Mira tempus traditionis domina superbum hereditatem
- Gratia naturalis, mater a istis ferocibus populum.
- Protegat nos esse - hoc munus
- Nostri Elmore, vivere! Ac gloriari tibi!
- Gaudeamus omnes pueros qui erant liberi.
- Deus defendere patriam gentem, et nostra urbe.
- Esse Gumball nostrum gladium.
- Go Omnes nostri.
- Nostris et sol occidens flag!
English Lyrics[]
- Respect for citizenship is strong in our Elmore;
- National pride is seen, shining from one side to another.
- For peace, for justice, for the freedom of creatures,
- In equality and in love we stand united.
- Firm of foundation, we do not dismiss all our creatures;
- We are creatures who live through work.
- Wonderful is the stage of tradition, mistress of a proud heritage,
- Natural grace, mother of a valorous people.
- We shall protect you – we have a duty;
- Our Elmore, live! And let us be proud of you!
- Let us all rejoice who were young and free.
- God defend our native nation and our own city.
- Be Gumball our sword.
- Let us all forge our nation.
- And to our setting sun flag!
